Get To KnowDustin Massey+ + + Dustin Massey is an amalgamation, a lifetime of learning through the telescope called creativity. Dustin's tools are all narrative-driven. This site is a fine-art and commercial camera showcase full of vibrance and candor, a blog aimed at living holistically and regeneratively, deciphering unlimited truths and metaphors, unique insights into producing content for brands and experiences; a building space for insight, counsel, and connection; a classroom space that develops the shared human experience; a literal and figurative community garden (of minds, of talents, of nourishment). This site is the journey itself, a monument of passion: to a rural kid who won poetry competitions and go-kart races, who collegiately learned about the powers of photography as a creative endeavor, business that generates public benefit, and life maintenance as an athlete. Dustin (Birmingham-Southern College '12) was an All-American Linebacker, Team Captain, the one who knew the game and how to play it at an exceptionally high level — with accolades in the sport and in the classroom. Dustin recognizes his past as a pivotal reason he operates within his purpose, where his job is to ~literally~ make people smile - a discovery he made along the journey of his illustrious 12 year career.

+ + + His work exists to absorb culture and life-moments, chase shared truths with his creative athleticism, and cultivate ideas, generosity, and uniqueness until life — this game of blissful and authentic appreciation — is what we call art.

+ + + Dustin is as mechanical in thought as he is spirited in the ever-possible, purposeful in his connections - cultured, experienced, energetic, empathetic, nuanced. He absorbs the world and creates through his vision. He has perfect color vision, incredible dexterity, tangible charm, deep knowledge about composition and form and the human relation connecting them - these inform his works; vibrant colors, straight lines, story-telling subject matter.
